New things..

Mike's work car has been breaking down a lot lately. His employer has told them that they are not going to fix cars anymore. If the car totally stops working then the employees will have to use their own cars. They will pay them 11 cents a mile and $300 a month. Since we have had so many troubles with Mikes work car we decided not to take our chances on it breaking down on him again and just take the money and he can use our only car. Pluss our car uses only 5 cents a mile in gas. We have been wanting to get a larger car, when we go places we are really cramped and we have to borrow My Dad's truck all the time just to go get things to fix up our house. We went looking at vehicles and was looking for something that we could afford on the $300 that Mikes work would be paying him, for the use of his own car. We were just shopping around and we came across a Van that we fell in love with. We were dealing with the owner, at Taylor Chevrolet, and he was not pushy at all. We discussed with him our financial situation for getting the new car and how much we had for a payment. He said that this Van that we loved would be too much for us $550 a month. WOW! We could never do that. So he went through his list of cars and showed us one that we could afford and he thought that we would like. We Test Drove it and it was just like the 1st one that we liked. Other than there was no specialties in it. Like DVD player, and Air compressor. Things that we didn't need. The first one was New 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LS and the 2nd one was a Used 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LS. The price difference was $10,000. WOW! We told Mr. Taylor that we would think about it over the weekend. We went back monday and got it. $15,000 with a $300 a month payment! Just what we needed! The greatest thing out of everything is, we got the second car we needed and we don't have to come up with the extra money for the payment. His work really wants them to use their own cars. They don't like dealing with these older cars that break down all the time. Here is a photo of our new Van.
