We had an interesting time at Spud Day this year. Kaitlyn was in the Parade on the Tavaci float. She was excited to be in the Parade. David was asked to march with the Scouts, but it was a couple miles to walk and I didn't want him trying to walk with our large troop flag on a heavy wood flag pole that whole way. So I didn't let him. Then we saw that all the Scouts had the same flag that was provided for them on pvc pipe. He could have handled that. Oh well maybe next year. We had a nice morning...

but then it got cloudy...

and it started raining Hard!

Here is a photo of Miss Russet in the rain... Poor Girls...

Kaitlyn didn't get to wet her friend had an umbrella.....
she is the one with the brown coat and hat on

Here is a photo of her and she survived......

The rain stopped by the end of the Parade and then we went to get lunch. WOW prices must have gone up! We ended up getting one funnel cake and sharing it. Then we looked around but most things were not set up yet for the kids due to rain. I started feeling crappy and needed to lay down. So we told the kids we would come back for the spud tug at 3pm. Well just before 3 we had constant rolling thunder and lightning for about 30 minutes. And it down poured! So we talked the kids in to renting a Wii game instead. That worked. We rented Sonic Olympic Games and we have had a blast playing it. David is really hoping to get it for Christmas. We will see about that one. He sweats by the time he is done playing for 20 minutes! I went to the Dr today and had my glucose tested again! And of course it came out fine. But my iron is really low so I have to start suplimenting that.

Looks like fun! We didn't even brave the weather. Zaine went to Preston with mom so we just relaxed and took it easy. Weird only having to worry about Quinn.
Sounds like you had a good time, despite the rain! Glad to hear that you are doing well with your pregnancy!
